Tick Talk

We go outside daily . We spend much of our time exploring the woods as it is much cooler in the shade of the trees during hot summer days. We are also aware of the necessity to protect ourselves from the risk of ticks. For this reason, we request that children wear protective clothing on all walks to limit the access of ticks to their skin. This includes enclosed shoes, long-sleeved shirts that fit tightly around the wrist and are tucked into pants, and long-legged pants tucked into socks or boots. Light coloured clothing helps in spotting ticks.
